The best Italian in Denver! The food & drinks were so delicious. They had gluten free pasta which was amazing. We ordered the asparagus which was also delicious. I ordered a mocktail & loved it while my sisters got cocktails & loved it as well. All of us loved our meals and drinks. We loved the atmosphere of this place with a beautiful small design that reminded me of my time in Italy. The service was okay with it being quick but not the friendliness & inviting as I though it would. Overall, I loved it though & will be back soon!

The food was so good! We had a meat pizza and Cacio e Pepe. As someone who isn't really into pasta, I was honestly blown away by this dish! Our waitress surprised us with an appetizer also which was so nice and so delicious! The drinks were good as well. I'd definitely come back here for a nicer meal!

We had the most amazing experience at Bar Dough this evening. I was celebrating a new job opportunity and booked the last high top spot on Open Table. As we arrived we were delighted to learn the hostess upgraded us to a private table. The decor is a feast for the eyes of ambient lighting, greenery, and as much flavor and texture as the dishes. My only criticism is there were so many patrons exuberantly enjoying themselves it was a little overwhelming at first. This was about 8pm, but it tapered off within about 45 minutes as the communal tables emptied. The entire wait staff were completely amazing. It was truly impressive to watch how they all worked in tandem to make sure our waters were full, plates were cleared and we were happy. Special shout out to our primary server, Jamie, who went above and beyond to make our night extra special with an amazing dessert spread and the perfect wine to pair that was within our budget. She was so awesome! The food itself was insane. An explosion of flavor and texture. The homemade pasta was out of this world. I got the cacio e Pepe and my husband got the buccatini. We shared an ensalata salad and garlic bread. We had to save the last few bites so we could savor it later. The olive oil gelato was unique and flavorful! Thank you to the entire staff for making our celebratory dinner truly special. Tonight was an experience I'll cherish for a long time and I can't wait to go back!

Bar dough is such a cute place with a lively but also intimate atmosphere. It's a nice spot for a date night or a smaller group dinner. The food is good and works for family style sharing or individual ordering. I love their Salsiccia pizza- a bit spicy and so flavorful.. I've almost finished one by myself in one sitting! We've been here several times and have also ordered take out a few times and will be back again!

Somehow missed the memo Bar Dough does brunch until walking past this weekend. We were some of the first in and had no wait and got a sunny table on the patio outside. The brunch menu is amazing - I'd seriously order any of the menu items with full confidence but settled on a breakfast classic. The eggs benedict was awesome. Fluffy poached eggs with a perfectly gooey center, a soft toasted english muffin, zippy hollandaise and sweet bacon jam underneath. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly crispy and the portion was large. We finished off with some zeppola served with lemon curd and powdered sugar that were demolished within seconds. Super impressed with the menu, food, service and ambiance.

$100 for a great meal for two. What we got: Margherita pizza & mushroom ravioli. Pizza was pretty standard, crust was delicious. Ravioli was so so good and well portioned. Drinks are a little on the pricier end, but we're used to Dallas prices. Environment: We grabbed a seat in front of the kitchen right before rush dinner hour. Very clean and beautiful decor. Service: Didn't get his name, but our waiter was such a cool guy; kind, friendly, knowledgeable, checked in on us just the right amount of times. Side note: pizza chef needs a hell of a raise. Idc how much he's making - he's not making enough. That man puts in work.

The cacio e pepe is likely the best pasta I've ever eaten, and a top 5 item I've eaten in Denver. The rigatoni was perfectly cooked with a nice chew to it, and the sauce had just the right amount of richness and cheesy goodness. I will crave this dish every day for a long time! We also got a pizza. Unfortunately I don't remember the name, but it was one of the rotating options and had figs, kale, balsamic, ricotta, and a meat. The crust was great! I didn't love the pizza itself, it oddly tasted like Pad Thai (my partner agreed!)....I love Pad Thai so that is not a complaint, but just a bit unexpected and not sure how the ingredients combined to produce that flavor profile. I'd totally come back and try the margherita -- I saw several come out of the kitchen and those looked incredible! The arancini were fine, nothing to rave about and a bit small for the price ($4 each for about a golf ball size) and didn't taste like much more than a mozzarella stick, but still enjoyable. The atmosphere was cool and trendy and service was pretty good. I don't love when restaurants automatically add a service charge to the bill.... even if I was going to tip the same amount anyway, I think tipping should be at the will of the customer, and the onus is on the restaurant to pay living wages to staff. Overall a very solid meal, and if you're considering coming here and you like pasta and cheese, you must come and get the cacio e pepe!!!

First time here for my birthday. Quite a loud atmosphere for a small cozy restaurant. I didn't mind it because the foods were on point. Restaurant got that dim lighting cozy date night vibe. Firstly, the meatballs are hefty and flavorful. The portion can be had as a small meal. The pizza had an interesting dough texture, a bit spongy and chewy. You can eat the whole thing and not notice which part is the crust! And lastly the cacio e pepe was a bit too bland for me. Our waiter was really tentative despite how busy it was. But that made up for the extra waiting, even though I had a reservation. The restaurant was nice enough to compensate the wait for free drinks. Would definitely recommend for dinner gather or more communal meals.
